Vinegar, I use that stuff in my inground swimming pool, eats algae, I use it on my drive way with oil leaks, it removes the black that tires leave on drive way cement, electric coffee makers, washing machine, every water tap, shower heads. After soaking in the vinegar the places I used it now become like new again

Bought a new travel trailer. Missing a stabilizer in the back, the dining room table kept falling down, dining room blinds kept falling down, and the outdoor kitchen door kept binding up. Four months later, they installed the stabilizer unit, fixed the dining room table, and replaced the outdoor kitchen door assembly. I still had to fix the outdoor kitchen door and the dining room blinds.😮I then tighten up the electrical junction box; the nuts were hand tighten. Other than that everything works. Happy trails.

Don't forget to clean hoses, I've literally had salad growing in mine in a summer in fla. Where our RV was being used as a horse show office.

We never put toilet paper in rhe tank and when we go somewhere in to town we always put some ice in the tank and letit slosh around ... put a borecamera and its clean ,works for me

We use awning tie downs with heavy duty spikes and springs to keep it in place. Never had any issues with it.

Great video. I have an IRV 36 that plays ok, except when on low volume it plays the FM/AM audio even when set to another source. Defective or wiring issue? Only 4 months old new from factory...

2024 Keystone Springdale 1800BH 20. Travel Trailer. No metal at all in the Tv mounting Bracket decal area. I tried a magnet on the stud area (16" apart per my stud finder) and they appear to be be wood.

I've owned a couple of popup campers but they didn't have black or gray tanks. I had the general idea of how they worked from seeing my friends campers, but this video definitely helped me better understand it all. Thanks for great content, it will hopefully help me with my my new travel trailer I pick up in a few days.

I use a bidet so there is no TP. I wonder if I will eventually need to black tank flush. I am scared to flush until I replace the cheap internal vacuum breaker that can leak in your RV. I need to make that an external brass fitting.

Best RV black tank tip is to NEVER go #2 in your RV unless an absolute emergency. Never put toilet paper in toilet. ( yea, even you women).Use your campground bathroom.

We are full time RV'ers, have been for the last two years, in a colder climate, while we build our retirement home. Bug screens are a must. I went to fire our furnace in the fall and it wouldn't ignite. I ended up having to pull the burner out and clean all the dead bugs out of it before getting the furnace to work. I also pay attention to the 12 volt DC side and batteries, Switching them off with a disconnect switch or pulling the negative terminal if I'm on "shore power" and charge them one day a week to avoid overcharging and burning up expensive batteries. Checking batteries, especially if you are running two 12 volt batteries in parallel. If one battery goes bad your converter will overcharge and burn up the good battery. I run with two 6 volt batteries in series so there is less chance of a bad battery causing the good one to go bad too, plus I get extra capacity from the two 6 volt batteries. RV'ing actually requires a lot more maintenance than a normal home.

A great way to kinda give your black tank a good scrubbing is after emptying the black tank dump down a bunch of ice! The drive home will slosh the ice about and help clean it out!

Great instructional! Step by step, easy to follow. I just did this to my trailer and can’t wait to try it out in the TX heat. Did you torque the mounting bolts? If so, to what? Install instructions of my unit says 40-50 lb-in. I did 40 and I feel like I didn’t turn them as much when loosening. Thank you for the great video 👏👏👏

You should mention that the lugs holding the spare tire on are more often than not a different size lug than the actual wheel lugs on the trailer. Great video by the way!
